| I
provided digital back lot and blue screen compositing for several
blue-screen plates acquired on DV-CAM. The only live set piece
was the chair. The shoot lacked a
visual effects coordinator so there were some problems with the footage.
Lighting of talent and bluescreen was inconsistent and there was a green cast from overhead
fluorescents left burning during some shots. Dark halos from
chromatic aberration ringed actors
in some shots and non-blue screen backgrounds, like floors, were in the
frame behind moving elements requiring hand rotoscoping.
With more time, I would have painted mattes to motivate
the spark flashes on the talent. |
